Larry P. Davis Humanitarian Award –
Recipient: Lew Frankford
This award has been established in memory of Larry P. Davis to honor
his dedication and enduring support of the Connecticut Sports Foundation
Against Cancer. Larry was a relentless champion of the Foundation’s
work. Tonight this award will be given to a corporation who exhibits the
qualities that reflect Larry’s commitment to advancing cancer research,
improving lives of those families impacted by cancer, and to the mission
of CSF.
The inaugural presentation of the Larry P. Davis Humanitarian Award,
is a special tribute to an individual and corporation who reflect the
extraordinary generosity of Larry Davis, a man who so adamantly believed
and embraced the mission of the Connecticut Sports Foundation Against
Cancer. Tonight, this prestigious honor is bestowed upon a man who, in
his own right, has made a mark of distinction on the Foundation through
years of exceptional, consistent and compassionate giving. Special
congratulations go to Lew Frankfort, CEO of COACH Inc., who has been
named as the distinguished and deserving individual honored this evening
with the initial presentation of this award.
