Application Process
Oncology social workers at our partnering hospitals and cancer centers assist patients in need with a simple application process.
- Applications for aid are reviewed and carefully considered by the Executive Director
- Each request is evaluated based on pre-established criteria including need and availability of funds.
- Except in unusual circumstances, grants are paid directly to the patient
- Once a completed application is received aid is often delivered within days.
Many of us don’t consider the immediate and staggering financial consequences that can result from a diagnosis of breast cancer. Yet countless patients in the U.S. are suddenly confronted with insurmountable bills at an already difficult and stressful time.
By providing patients in need with direct financial assistance CSF is able to quickly and compassionately ease their burden. It is our belief that even small gestures of support can be the jumpstart a patient needs to fight back against their illness.
